Meet the Jeweler
Thomas DeAngelo
Thomas trained at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and completed Diamond Essentials through GIA. After training under longtime master jeweler Suki, Thomas became DeAngelos Jewelry's full-time head jeweler in 2019.
Today, he works directly with customers on custom designs, redesigns, and repairs, combining traditional bench-jeweler skills with modern design techniques to bring each customer's idea to life.
Outside the store, Thomas enjoys working on personal projects, spending time with his dogs and cats, gaming, and listening to podcasts.

The cost of your custom jewelry depends on your design, materials, and gemstone choices. We work within your budget to create a piece you’ll love without surprises. Once we understand your idea and preferences, we’ll provide a detailed estimate before starting the design.
Is custom jewelry more expensive?
Custom jewelry isn’t always more expensive, it depends on your design, materials, and the level of detail you want. In fact, creating a custom piece can often be more cost-effective because you have full control over your budget. You can choose the type of metal, gemstone quality, and design complexity to match what you’re comfortable spending.
Unlike mass-produced jewelry, custom pieces are made just for you, with better craftsmanship, attention to detail, and lasting value. You’re not just paying for a piece of jewelry, you’re investing in something personal, meaningful, and built to last a lifetime.
When will I see a design? Can I see my design before I pay?
There’s no cost to talk about your ideas and explore design options with our team. During your consultation, our jewelry designers may also create artistic sketches to help you visualize your piece. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll request a small deposit before creating detailed 3D models and renderings of your design. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your custom jewelry.
How long is my project going to take?
Typically, your custom jewelry will be ready within 2–4 weeks after your design is finalized. However, since every piece is unique, the timeline may vary based on design complexity and material choices. Here’s a general overview of our process:
Design: As long as it takes to make it perfect
We move at your pace. Some customers finalize their design within a few days, while others prefer to take more time refining every detail. We’ll work closely with you until you’re completely satisfied with the design.
Production: Approximately 2–4 weeks
Once your design is approved, we handcraft your piece with care and precision. Every detail is completed by hand. Before shipping, we’ll send you photos of the finished jewelry for your final approval.
Shipping: 1–3 days (domestic) | Around 1 week (international)
We offer free shipping on all orders. Please note, international deliveries may incur import fees and occasional customs delays, which can slightly extend the delivery time.
What's your refund/return policy?
Every piece we create is 100% custom-made, designed and crafted specifically for you. Since most of our diamonds and gemstones are purchased individually for each order, we’re unable to accept returns, issue refunds, or cancel orders once you’ve paid to secure your stone(s) or approved the final design for production.
If the finished custom jewelry does not match the 3D CAD or rendering you approved, we will correct or remake it at no additional cost so that it matches the approved design. If the finished piece matches the approved CAD or rendering, changes requested afterward are considered design changes and may involve additional cost.
My ring doesn't fit. Do you offer resizing?
Yes! We offer complimentary resizing for your custom ring to ensure a perfect fit. If your ring feels too tight or too loose, simply bring it in or contact us, and our skilled jewelers will adjust it with care. We recommend waiting a few days after receiving your ring to confirm the fit before resizing, as finger sizes can vary slightly with temperature and time of day.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we do! Every custom piece comes with a lifetime manufacturing warranty that covers any issues related to craftsmanship or defects in materials. We stand behind the quality of our work and want you to enjoy your jewelry with complete confidence.
Our warranty includes complimentary cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to keep your jewelry looking its best. Please note that normal wear and tear, loss, or damage caused by accidents are not covered, but we’re always happy to help with repairs or restoration if needed.
How do I insure my jewelry against loss or damage?
To keep your jewelry protected, we recommend adding it to your homeowners, renters, or individual jewelry insurance policy. Most insurance providers offer this service and can easily include your new piece for full coverage. Insurance is especially important for engagement rings and high-value gemstones.
While we don’t provide insurance directly, we make the process simple for you. Every purchase includes a Detailed Receipt for Insurance Purposes, which lists all the details your insurer needs, including product description and retail value, so you can quickly set up your policy and enjoy peace of mind.
Do you offer lab-created gems and diamonds?
Yes, we do! We offer a wide selection of lab-created diamonds and gemstones that are every bit as stunning as their natural counterparts. Lab-created stones have the same beauty, brilliance, and durability as mined ones, the only difference is their origin.
